Rishi Subjects uses account information to provide access to revision tools, review registrations, and help limit accounts to genuine students and teachers.
The account system stores your username, forename, surname, selected school, securely hashed password information, approval status, membership level, and session information. Your username is the only name shown publicly. Your forename, surname, and school are available only to authorised Rishi Subjects administrators for account administration.
Forum safety and AI features
Public forum submissions are checked for personal information and unsafe or inappropriate content before publication. A minimal moderation audit records the account, time, action, outcome, and general reason; rejected sensitive text is not retained in that audit.
Text submitted to RishAI, AI marking tools, and contextual forum moderation is processed securely on the server using Google Gemini. API credentials and private moderation instructions are never sent to the browser.
